Abbott Construction broke ground on the new location for The Everett Clinic, Smokey Point Medical Center in Marysville, WA on July 21, 2011. The new medical center will provide primary, specialty and ancillary care services, including Family Practice, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, WIC, Neurology, Dermatology, ENT, Allergy, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, GI, Ortho, Podiatry, PT, GYN, Diagnostic Imaging and Lab.

The projected size of this facility is approximately 60k GSF SF, 2 above grade levels, with surface parking on a 156k SF site. Construction schedule is slated for completion by June 2012. This project will be delivered using an Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) approach, which involves the entire design/construction team collaboratively working together to design within a pre-determined target construction budget.

The Everett Clinic’s vision for this location will be a patient centered, full service “big box” care center offering services that are needed in that community, designing a facility to eliminate waste and to promote smooth flow of patients and resources.
